You will be responsible for ensuring supermarket refrigeration systems within your area are fully maintained and operating at peak performance. The job involves travelling to client stores, diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, servicing and repairs while managing your time efficiently. Arcus provides a company van (available for personal use), fuel card, smartphone, tools, uniform and PPE.
The position is based in the Camberley, Reading or Basingstoke area, with travel across a wide region to service multi‑site supermarket clients. Candidates must hold a full, valid UK driver’s licence and have refrigeration engineering experience. The role includes door‑to‑door pay and overtime paid at time and a half, with the potential to earn an additional £12,000 annually.
Essential requirements include a valid UK driver’s licence, proven experience as a refrigeration engineer, C&G 2079/F‑GAS certification, strong communication skills and health‑and‑safety awareness. Desirable qualifications such as a CO₂ certification and supermarket experience will be supported with training.
