The Certification Center Officer in SGS UAE will ensure the correct and timely issuance of Certificates of Conformity (CoC) while meeting the productivity and quality targets of the Certification Center. The role involves assessing product and exporter risk levels, identifying essential requirements and applicable standards, and following Business Rules, Conformity Assessment Instructions, and related references.
The officer will provide quality and technical opinions on product standards, classification, and certification, and assist in resolving classification and certification cases and other inquiries by applying technical expertise on specific goods or commodities.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and have either two years of experience in conformity assessment or four years in testing, calibration, inspection, or audit within a relevant field. Additional knowledge in product design, manufacturing, testing, research, and specification is required, preferably with a background in conformity assessment, industrial standardization, and quality management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, or ISO/TS 16949.
