A bachelor’s or master’s degree in transportation, civil or electrical engineering, urban and regional planning, or a related major (e.g., geography, math, statistics, economics)
Interest and experience with mentoring and training staff
Road Safety Professional (RSP) certification
Currently hold or plan to hold an Oregon professional engineer’s (PE) license
Familiarity with preparing and reviewing signing, striping, and traffic signal plans
Experience applying MUTCD, and AASHTO design standards on a variety of projects
Experience with Oregon engineering standards and clients
Experience leading proposals and nurturing client relationships
Familiarity with mobility issues and how they affect transportation engineering
7+ years of experience in transportation engineering
