Mechanics work at the Nappanee Hauling Site in a repair/maintenance shop, providing stable hours that support work‑life balance. The daily routine involves servicing trucks and equipment that serve over 20 million North American customers.
In this role you will use modern tools and procedures to maintain diesel and, at some locations, CNG trucks. You’ll take pride in ensuring each vehicle leaves the shop ready to support the local community, applying high‑skill techniques and determination.
- Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems
- Estimate time and material costs for repairs
- Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times
- Respond to emergency service calls
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles
- Complete paperwork documenting parts usage and labor time
- Assist senior mechanics on project work
- Review and assign repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Maintain a clean, OSHA‑compliant work area

- Valid driver’s licence with acceptable driving record
