- Planning and manage the budgets to deliver the activities within budget.
- Capture and report data to demonstrate operational performance and efficiency, identify trends and deliver continuous improvement to cost, quality and programme.

- Ensuring continuous improvement across the range of site establishment and operations to deliver operational, safety and cost-efficiency.
- Managing third party contractors in their delivery of support including: procurement of contractors; induction; performance management; commercial management; and day-to-day operational control.
- Reporting any trends or risks that are likely to impact the operation of the wider estate, HSE or the reputation of the logistics team, the client, or its contractors.
- Designing and implementation of the processes and procedures necessary for the establishment and sustainment of construction sites throughout the project lifecycles of construction projects.
- Protecting the operation of the wider estate site by ensuring that activities do not impact the day-to-day operation of the estate.
- Managing mobilisation and demobilisation of project applying systematic planning and communication to achieve success.
- Managing/developing procurement and management of complex contracts.
- Managing/developing control of costs; risk; schedule and change and proficient in the use of earned value tools.
- Managing/developing close out of commercial claims and the associated negotiations.
- Producing employer’s requirements to inform the procurement and of contracts and ensure that the operations of contractors align with the requirements of the construction logistics methodology and framework.
- Ensuring contractor resource levels are constantly reviewed and maintained at appropriate levels.

- Good presentation, influencing and facilitation skills. Excellent communication and organisational skills, able to develop relationships and maintain effective networks.
- Able to demonstrate strong management skills including project management, financial management, change management and facilitation. Proficient in the use of estimating scheduling, programming, and risk tools.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Experience of successfully engaging groups of stakeholders up to board level.
- Understanding the needs of nuclear quality and how nuclear quality is assured and controlled.
- Experience of managing contractors, consultants, and other advisors throughout large and complex construction projects, in a regulated environment.
- Can demonstrate experience of project managing logistics through the project lifecycle from concept to handover.
- Client facing, stakeholder management and problem-solving experience.
- Degree and chartered status in an engineering, construction, physics, or other related field.
- Knowledge and/or practitioner of project management with experience of applying either; APM body of knowledge and OGC's Prince2.
