Perform maintenance, hardware upgrades and replacement, firmware updates, and system configuration changes.
Perform scheduled backups on systems and manage data backup library, including storage of tapes, disks, and other magnetic media.
Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.

Strong IT administration skills

Willingness to learn administration of High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters using Microsoft HPC Pack and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Familiarity with system accreditation standards for Risk Management Framework (RMF) and System Security Policy
Familiarity with virtualization technologies, Cisco firewalls, and networking
Active Top Secret Clearance
Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems
