Design Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Design Manager to join their growing team. You will take the lead in managing the design process on major industrial and data centre projects, working closely with some of the worlds largest organisations as clients.

• Work with global clients on some of the UK and Europe’s most high-profile schemes
• Influence innovation, buildability, and value engineering throughout the design process
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure robust design solutions
• Work alongside project teams to ensure seamless integration between design and delivery
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for compliance and quality
• Ensure designs meet client requirements, statutory regulations, and project objectives
• Manage the full design process from pre-construction through delivery

• Previous experience as a Design Manager with a main contractor
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, design coordination, and UK regulations
• Proven background on industrial, logistics, or data centre projects is highly desirable
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and commercially aware

£70,000 – £80,000 + Car Allowance + Package
