The Quality Control Inspector supports extraordinary teams that build great products and drive growth. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the role is responsible for quality control and assurance throughout all production phases, including inspections of raw materials, in‑process items, and final products.
Typical duties include performing visual inspections and specified tests on incoming materials, in‑process production, and finished products to verify compliance with drawings and specifications. The inspector uses observation and testing to identify material and manufacturing faults, documents results in inspection reports, logs, and checklists, and communicates recommendations to supervisors. Additional responsibilities involve maintaining quality records, ensuring inspection equipment is operational, reporting needed repairs, and performing other related duties as assigned.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of quality inspection experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment, preferably with ISO 9001 exposure. Required skills include strong analytical, problem‑solving, and detail‑oriented abilities; the ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical documents; excellent written and verbal communication; and proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting.
The role requires prolonged standing, repetitive tasks, and occasional lifting of up to 35 lb, as well as the dexterity to operate testing equipment. Inspectors must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, squat, and traverse the production facility, and must wear required PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, a hard hat, and ear protection.

Compensation is hourly $18.33–$24.75 in California and includes a full range of medical, dental, and vision plans, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, 401(k) matching, vacation and paid sick time, and tuition reimbursement.
