Description

The Quality Control Inspector supports extraordinary teams that build great products and drive growth. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the role is responsible for quality control and assurance throughout all production phases, including inspections of raw materials, in‑process items, and final products.

Typical duties include performing visual inspections and specified tests on incoming materials, in‑process production, and finished products to verify compliance with drawings and specifications. The inspector uses observation and testing to identify material and manufacturing faults, documents results in inspection reports, logs, and checklists, and communicates recommendations to supervisors. Additional responsibilities involve maintaining quality records, ensuring inspection equipment is operational, reporting needed repairs, and performing other related duties as assigned.

• Perform visual inspections and specified tests on incoming, in‑process, and finished products to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of quality inspection experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment, preferably with ISO 9001 exposure. Required skills include strong analytical, problem‑solving, and detail‑oriented abilities; the ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical documents; excellent written and verbal communication; and proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting.

The role requires prolonged standing, repetitive tasks, and occasional lifting of up to 35 lb, as well as the dexterity to operate testing equipment. Inspectors must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, squat, and traverse the production facility, and must wear required PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, a hard hat, and ear protection.

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years of quality inspection experience in a fabrication/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ISO 9001‑certified operations and strong analytical, problem‑solving, and detail‑oriented skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical documents; proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Capable of handling multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting.
• Required to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 35 lb, and possess dexterity to operate testing equipment.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, squat, traverse the production facility, and wear required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, ear protection).
