Assist in diagnosing faults or malfunctions and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems
Forecast and coordinate and the required preventive maintenance of any on site project heavy equipment, as well as any unanticipated repairs
Work collaboratively with Equipment Maintenance Supervision and project construction Teams
Organize the ordering of any required heavy equipment parts and consumables
Maintain working maintenance scheduling documents
Interpret work orders, technical manuals and write service reports

Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
Must be an Interprovincial Red Seal or Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Mechanic ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
Must have a valid Driver's License and clear 3-year driver's abstract
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes
Experienced applicants that reside in Kamloops BC or surrounding areas will be given preference due to the location of this project
Must have experience maintaining and repairing Caterpillar, & Komatsu; up to 40T Excavators, 40T trucks and various other pieces of construction equipment
2+ Year experience in a supervisory role required
Successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
CSTS-2020, WHMIS 2015, Rigging L1 (training will be provided)
