As Manager EHS, you will be a leader of EHS functions within our Carolina Cat division and be responsible for improving the health and safety performance of assigned Carolina Cat branches, and for technicians who travel to and serve our customers at their locations. Each day you will partner with Carolina Cat leadership and work with branch and mobile technicians that service construction equipment and similar types of industrial vehicles and equipment. You will work closely with partners in Operations, Fleet, Continuous Improvement, Human Resources, and Legal to further our EHS program. This position requires a strategic approach to drive EHS continuous improvement, program scalability, and sustainability. You will use data to evaluate trends related to leading and lagging indicators to help your partners focus on safety, and project management techniques to drive performance improvement through safety incident prevention, investigation, and mitigation.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee must frequently lift, carry, push, pull, and /or otherwise move up to 25 pounds.
