Procurement of valves
Prepare Commercial Bid Evaluation (CBE), Note for Approval (NFA), Procurement Change Note (PCN) and other commercial documents.
Ensure comprehensiveness of MR / MTO / SR.
Follow and execute the category strategy for the sourcing of items and develop RFQs.
Record Commercial Bid clarifications and support technical team on queries / deviations received from suppliers and ensure timely resolution, implementing relevant value improvement levers.
Execute order as per agreed rate agreements and manage emergency procurement.
Support Lead Buyer and Category Manager in conducting negotiations with suppliers and liaising with suppliers during source to contract.
Manage internal / external / cross-functional communication between SCM, QA/QC, PMT, Engineering, Vendors, etc.
Timely placement of purchase orders / work orders / amendments as per project schedule and ensure release to suppliers.
Category Buyers will be responsible for execution of the Category Strategies through completing purchasing process and ensuring contract closures with accurate documentation.
Provide support to Lead Buyers / Category Managers in developing Frame agreements and rate contracts.
Recommend relevant, category specific supplier development activities to Lead Buyers.
Record and provide support to address supplier grievances.
