Repair Trailers, pulling equipment, Tracked Equipment (Various) and other equipment utilized to build the power grid.
Report any emergencies such as man stuck in Bucket or fluid spills to your supervisor and fleet management.
Keep accurate records of services performed, parts used, and work completed. Records are kept in the software system. (Mobile Frame)
Repair or replace malfunctioning parts, such as belts, hoses, pumps, and injectors.
Troubleshoot issues with engines, electrical systems, air conditioning, and other mechanical systems in diesel-powered vehicles or equipment.
Document proper records of maintenance schedules and repairs performed.
Communicate with customers (internal/Crews) to explain necessary repairs or services.
Repair booms consistent with Bucket and Digger Trucks.
Maintain clear documentation for any work performed, including warranty work or manufacturer recommendations.
Perform and document Pre and Post Trip
Complete JTSA for the day and if on job site review and sign off on JTSA with crew.
Work closely with Equipment Service Coordinator’s to ensure status of equipment when assigned to make repairs.
Provide accurate timelines for repairs and prior approval for maintenance costs.
Troubleshooting booms with hydraulic systems, electrical components and within the work environment of mother nature.
Order and maintain inventory of necessary parts for equipment you are assigned on service request.
Preventative Maintenance on all equipment Tracked and wheeled, that includes your company issued service truck
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.
Follow the FMCSA regulations while driving and repairing equipment.
Ensure that all repairs and replacements use high-quality, durable parts. Returning any core charges to vendors.
Ensure that all repairs meet industry standards and comply with environmental regulations.
Identify mechanical problems through diagnostic tests and visual inspections.
Conduct regular preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of diesel engines and machinery.
Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations when working with tools and equipment.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems and related components, including transmission, exhaust, brakes, and fuel systems.

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to exert physical effort necessary for moderate to heavy work, typically involving some combination of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling as well as lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 100 pounds.
Diesel/Auto Certification from Technical / Vocational / Military program -OR- any combination of education & experience providing equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
Valid CDL (preferred) or driver's license with clean driving record and ability to operate various vehicles and equipment.
Ability & willingness, without special arrangements, to travel away from home on short notice in support of Field Operations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in diesel mechanics or a related field
Physical coordination necessary to perform skilled movements involved in repair.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
