The Marketing Communications Manager – Growth Markets is a strategic, data‑driven marketer responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing communication strategies with our dealers across Caterpillar’s Building Construction Product group in global growth markets. Based in Dubai, the role leads marketing experts for Africa, the Middle East, India and China, and also owns growth marketing plans for Southeast Asia, with the primary goal of driving top‑of‑funnel growth, new customer acquisition, and customer retention.
The role requires deep knowledge of customer purchase drivers and pain points across growth regions, collaborative techniques, creative thinking, effective communication, relationship management, strategic thinking, vendor management, and promotion and marketing communications. These competencies enable the manager to design and implement marketing plans that resonate with target segments and align with the enterprise strategy.
Ideal candidates bring at least ten years of experience in relevant B2B roles, preferably within dealer‑based business models such as construction equipment, automotive, or heavy machinery. Strong digital marketing skills—including paid media, social media strategy, and omnichannel principles—along with familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools, are essential. Experience in market research and translating insights into actionable strategies is also required.
