  • Prioritise safety at all times for all, including members of the public.
  • Support winter maintenance activities to maintain a safe network for road users.
  • Build strong working relationships with subcontractors and support external contractors on site.
  • Support members of the public with enquiries when approached and be courteous at all times.
  • Evaluate job information and where issues arise work with peers to identify solutions.
  • Conduct all operational activities against the required quality standards.
  • Support emergency service provision to make defects safe in line with contract expectations.
  • Carrying out a broad range of Highway Maintenance activities safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Carry out all reasonable work instructions usually issued via digital platforms.
  • Always conduct yourself in line with the Balfour Beatty Behaviours when in the public domain.
