Mechanical Engineer - MEP

Description

• Perform electrical calculations, complete panel schedules NEC demand summaries.
• Draw base floor plans as needed.
• Perform heat loss, heat gain, and ventilation calculations.
• Provide designs for plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire alarm.
• Communicate with internal and external customers.
• Communicate with clients and vendors.
• Create technical drawings of PME/FA designs.
• Perform site visits to document existing conditions.
• Set up drawing sheets for projects.
• Adhere to drafting standards for consistent documents.
• Make corrections based on red-lined drawings.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of building codes and National Electrical Code
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) from ABET-accredited university.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• 3-5 years of experience in engineering design
• Proficient in AutoCAD LT. Proficient in Revit if hired for BIM drafting.
• Ability to do photometric plans through Visual 3D or other software.
