

Direct multidisciplinary engineering and design teams, along with subcontractors
Lead end-to-end delivery of large T&D projects, including planning, engineering, procurement, construction support, and closeout
Serve as the primary point of contact for utility clients, ensuring alignment on scope, budget, and schedule
Champion continuous improvement in project execution and client service
Ensure all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are met
Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress reports
Present project updates to senior leadership and client stakeholders
Identify risks, resolve issues, and manage change orders
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering, or Construction Management
10–20 years of project management experience in Transmission & Distribution
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities

A major engineering consulting firm is hiring a Project Manager to lead multimillion-dollar Transmission & Distribution projects for the Tacoma Power account. This role drives grid-reliability and modernization efforts across the region and requires a mix of technical depth, strong execution, and confident client interaction.
Experience supporting projects at Tacoma Power is highly preferred
Proficiency with MS Project, P6, or similar project management tools
Engineering consulting background strongly preferred
Demonstrated success managing multimillion-dollar T&D projects
Travel and relocation support available

Base salary: $180,000–$200,000/year
