- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, field operations, IT, and compliance teams.
- Support data migration, cleansing, and validation efforts during system implementations or upgrades.
- Collaborate with client IT and operations teams to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Provide training and documentation for GIS workflows and tools.
- Configure and manage GIS datasets for utility infrastructure including water mains, valves, hydrants, electric poles, transformers, meters, and gas pipelines.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing across the practice.
- Lead or support GIS-EAM integration projects from planning through execution.
- Develop project documentation, timelines, and deliverables aligned with client goals.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in configuring spatially enabled assets, and work management.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and status reviews.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure alignment with utility regulations (e.g., EPA, NERC, FERC).
- Support business development by contributing to proposals and client strategy meetings.
- Ensure quality assurance and client satisfaction throughout the engagement.
- Advise clients on best practices for integrating GIS with EAM platforms (e.g., Trimble Unity/Cityworks, IBM Maximo, IFS).
- Develop custom maps, spatial analysis tools, and dashboards to support client operations and planning.
- Assess client GIS environments and recommend improvements for data accuracy, accessibility, and integration.

- Data Processing & Automation: ModelBuilder, Python (ArcPy), SQL
- Master’s degree
- 3+ years working with EAM systems (Trimble Unity/Cityworks, IBM Maximo, IFS)
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver high quality client outcomes.
- Proven ability to deliver client-facing consulting projects and training.
- A minimum total of 10 years of related experience with GIS platforms in a utility environment. Graduate work may count as related work experience if directly applicable to job function.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and training skills.
- Industry certifications are a plus (e.g. PMP, ESRI)
- Integration Tools: FME (Feature Manipulation Engine), REST APIs, Web Map Services (WMS)
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging executive level stakeholders.
- Knowledge of asset condition modeling, risk analysis, and capital planning.
- Competence / exposure to the following technologies:
- Strong understanding of utility asset types and spatial data standards
- Esri ArcGIS Suite: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcMap
- Visualization & Reporting: ArcGIS Dashboards, Power BI, Tableau
- EAM Integration
- Experience with GPS/mobile data collection tools and workflows.
- Experience with SCADA, AMI, or other operational systems.
