Distribution Center Representative I (Weekend Shift)

Description

• Accurately label product according to pick list specifications
• Work with the assistance of a trainer while performing assigned tasks
• Ensure distribution center quality by identifying, scanning, and taking damaged product to the appropriate area within the facility
• Use an RF Scanner in order to complete inventory transactions, including picking, staging, and loading/unloading
• Maintain good housekeeping within all departments and assigned PITs
• Ensure all product is secure and damage free when loading in the trailer
• Safely store product according to product specifications
• Safely operate a powered industrial truck (PIT) and perform daily PIT check list
• Contributing Respectfully - Sharing opinions, valuing ideas, sharing opposing perspectives with respect
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of product location throughout warehouse

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Basic understanding and use of the English language is required for the safe and effective performance of the job
• RF Scanner knowledge
• Listening to Understand – Open mind, learning from others, accepting feedback, embracing the objective
• Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others, and work to maintain constructive professional relationships
• Minimum one (1) year experience driving power industrial truck (forklift/basiloid)
• Preferred forklift certification per OSHA standards
• Occasionally lifting a maximum of 50lbs.
• Thinking Creatively – Applying creativity, seeking improvements, understanding from the customers’ lens
• Understand the proper use of a basiloid attachment
• Basic math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills
• Understand the flow of product through the facility
• Sitting, standing, walking for extended periods
