Description

• Inspect incoming materials against purchase orders and document damages.
• Prepare checklists for short or damaged shipments to arrange replacements.
• Coordinate with building contractors and schedule installations alongside other works.
• Verify vertical alignment of lift shafts prior to installation.
• Compare shafts, door openings, and pit escalators to shop drawings.
• Install machine room equipment per shop drawings.
• Install hoist way, pit, hall equipment, rails, and doors according to specifications.
• Submit completed installation checklist to Team Lead.
• Clear pit of debris after installation.
• Restrict site access per Otis safety guidelines.
• Restrict unauthorized entry to machine rooms.
• Report site, product, or operational discrepancies to Team Lead.
• Set and achieve annual performance goals with manager.
• Identify and arrange required training and development opportunities.

Requirements

• Pursue proficiency in role competencies and stay updated on industry developments.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of installation experience in the vertical transportation industry.
• At least 2 years in progressively responsible roles.
• Ability to convey basic information to knowledgeable audiences.
• Primarily field‑work based with minimal office time.
