What you would be doing

  • Escalate recurring issues to the Customer Care Manager where required.
  • Support with defect reporting for social housing where applicable.
  • Uphold company processes, policies and high standards of customer care at all times.
  • Log, validate and coordinate aftercare enquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Follow up to ensure works have been completed to a high standard and to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records using CRM systems.
  • Process 5–7 month purchaser reports in line with customer journey guidelines.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers via telephone, email and post.
  • Schedule and liaise with Customer Care Technicians, subcontractors and suppliers to arrange appointments and works.

  • Strong IT skills and experience using CRM software.
  • Previous customer service experience within an office environment (house building experience beneficial but not essential).
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Highly organised, with excellent time management and the ability to multi-task.
  • Confident communicator with strong listening skills and a patient, empathetic manner.
