Tasks

Prepare technical documentation including fire safety strategy reports, performance-based design briefs, and fire engineering reports outlining design solutions. Assess how fires start, spread, and impact structures and occupants. Apply scientific and engineering principles to reduce fire risk, protect people and assets, and ensure compliance with relevant building codes and standards. Conduct fire and smoke modelling, pedestrian egress modelling, and risk assessments to inform fire safety strategies.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a motivated and curious graduate who is eager to build a career in fire safety engineering. To be successful in this role, you will hold a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, structural, aerospace, chemical, or a related engineering discipline. You will bring strong problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication and interpersonal capability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain required clearances are essential for this position.
