Supporting the site management team with day-to-day engineering duties and coordination of subcontract packages.
Carrying out as-built surveys and maintaining calibration records for all instruments on site.
Assisting in the preparation of method statements, task briefings, and inspection/test plans.
Promoting a safe working environment and adhering to all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Setting out works for road widening, new cycle paths, and pedestrian improvements in line with design drawings and specifications.
Establishing accurate levels and survey control, liaising closely with the Survey team to ensure precision throughout the project.
Collaborating with designers and client representatives to resolve design queries and implement changes effectively.
Performing quality checks in accordance with inspection and test plans, maintaining detailed records of works such as excavations, concrete pours, and reinforcement.
Checking and recording delivered materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, including subcontractor materials.

Experience on infrastructure and/or Civils works to include streetworks, earthworks, structures, highways, drainage or utilities.
Experience of setting out on civil engineering projects and management of daily activities.

IOSH / SSSTS training.
Have in a structured environment with other Section Engineers, sub-contractors and site management team.
HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE).
CSCS Card.
