IT Project Manager

Description

• Manages a matrix of internal teams and remote resources to ensure timely project delivery
• Ensures compliance with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Coordinate project activities across a matrix of cross-functional teams and with other LCPA departments
• Scope Management: Defining and controlling what is and is not included in the project (the scope) to prevent "scope creep."
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Effectively conveying complex information to all audiences (technical to executive), managing their expectations, and securing necessary buy-in
• Coordinates and drives delivery across software vendors, stakeholders, and construction teams
• Manages issues as they arise and mitigates risks to avoid impact to project delivery and timelines
• Budget & Financial Management: Estimating project costs, developing the budget, tracking expenses, and managing financial resources throughout the project life cycle
• Conflict Resolution & Problem-Solving: Addressing disagreements promptly and effectively, and making timely, informed decisions under pressure.
• Scheduling & Time Management: Developing detailed project schedules, setting realistic timelines, identifying the critical path, and managing dependencies to ensure timely delivery
• Aligns project interests with enterprise strategy (architectural standards, etc.)
• Effectively manages allocated funds to deliver projects within budget

Requirements

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
• Waterfall: For sequential, highly structured projects.
• Tool Proficiency: Expertise in using project management software like Monday.com and Procore
• Experience using ServiceNow IT Service Management System
• Experience using/managing Monday.com project management software
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Project Management or closely related field
• Agile/Scrum/Kanban: For iterative, flexible projects common in software development
• Three years of experience leading or managing large-scale IT projects
• Experience using/managing Procore project management software
• PMP or PgMP certification
