Description

• Review industry, customer, and range requirements to support system and subsystem designs.
• Prepare and present electrical engineering materials for Requirements and Design Reviews.
• Evaluate uncertainty and risks associated with requirements and designs.
• Conduct detailed analyses to verify designs and present findings to management and customers.
• Derive and decompose requirements through documentation and design meetings.
• Collaborate with other IPTs, engineering disciplines, and operations/manufacturing groups.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and perform comprehensive failure investigations.
• Perform analysis, design, and testing of complex designs based on specific objectives.
• Perform qualification, acceptance testing, characterization testing, and test data review.
• Provide quality internal and external customer service.
• Lead development, coordination, and execution of test programs to evaluate designs.
• Participate in trade studies for internal projects and procured equipment.
• Analyze data to identify trends indicating out of tolerance or degraded part performance.
• Seek new information sources and provide necessary information to meet customer needs.
• Mentor engineers from a technical standpoint and conduct peer reviews.
• Characterize off-nominal behavior of components through testing.
• Provide formal peer review of engineering designs or analyses for team members.

Requirements

• Technical expertise and working knowledge of related disciplines.
• Electrical systems testing and integration experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret Security clearance.
• BS in Electrical Engineering with 5 years' experience or 3 years' experience with a Master's degree.
• Experience working with various military standards.
• At least one year of system-level testing experience.
• Experience with Matlab and Python.
• Proficiency in missile systems testing and documentation.
