Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Description

• Maintain accurate commercial documentation in line with company procedures
• Assist in monitoring project costs, forecasting, and reporting to ensure financial control
• Assist in the preparation and management of cost plans, bills of quantities, and tender documents
• Work collaboratively with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to maintain clear communication and strong working relationships
• Help manage valuations, variations, and payments
• Support the commercial team in procurement, issuing enquiries, and evaluating subcontractor quotations

Requirements

We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. Working closely with the Project QS and Commercial Manager, you will support the delivery of high-quality projects across our growing portfolio. • Strong numeracy, organisation, and communication skills
• Knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., JCT/NEC) is desirable
• Degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• Ideally 1+ years’ experience with a main contractor or developer (graduates with placement experience also considered)
• Full UK driving licence
