Must be physically capable of walking and moving about on the construction sites, have good hand-eye coordination, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required; and an active Professional Engineer (PE) License (CA) required
Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred, and a MA or MBA a plus
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills substantiated by a track record of successful project delivery.
Ideally advanced level understanding of A/E/C Industry and Government Affairs is preferred
Must be savvy in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams)
Experience working within ERP, CRM, and/or system in a Corporate and/or Consulting environment (i.e. Deltek , Paycor, etc ) a must
Minimum 10 years of hands-on design work in construction or infrastructure projects (preferably focusing on Government Contracts, Highway, Roadway, Transit or other infrastructure projects)
Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation and other drafting programs.
Advanced Presentation and Communication skills required
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Government Contracts; including experience in government work within LA County Public Works; LA Metro; CalTrans ; City of LA Public Works
Usually works a standard 40-hour workweek either daytime or nighttime.
