• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to cost-savings initiatives, efficiency improvements, and long-term procurement strategies.
• Inventory & Cost Management: Monitor inventory levels, analyze usage trends, and ensure purchasing aligns with budget and operational goals.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships, evaluating supplier performance and reliability.
• Procurement & Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with production, engineering, operations, and finance to ensure materials and services support business needs.
• Negotiation & Contracts: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure competitive advantages while ensuring compliance with company standards.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting practices, and financial analysis.
• Calm, composed, and solution-oriented when addressing conflicts or challenges.
• Professional presence and confidence in presenting information and responding to questions.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Proven success in negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors.
• Strong understanding of production systems and manufacturing processes, including technical drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve logistical or procurement challenges.
• Skilled communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
• Advanced analytical, planning, and mathematical skills with the ability to evaluate cost, risk, and supplier performance.
