Senior Manager - MEP Electrical Engineer - Residential Delivery (RES7)

Description

• Lead the design and execution of mechanical systems for residential projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
• Promote health and safety standards in all engineering practices and project workflows
• Guide and mentor the engineering team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional development
• Engage in regular communication with project stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any issues related to mechanical engineering
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for mechanical engineering activities on residential projects
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, structural teams, and external consultants to ensure integrated project delivery
• Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical design processes from concept through to construction, including detailed design, shop drawing approval, and installation oversight
• Conduct site inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry best practices
• Collaboration with global industry leaders in real estate development, architecture, and planning

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing engineering teams effectively
• Demonstrated expertise in the design and management of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems specific to residential buildings
• A fast-paced, high-impact environment where strategic thinking and execution excellence are highly valued
• In-depth knowledge of local construction codes, regulations, and industry practices relevant to residential mechanical engineering
• Proficient in using engineering design software and tools to create accurate designs and documentation
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on MEP systems for residential projects
• A proactive problem-solver with the ability to manage project timelines and deliver high-quality results
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Excellent communication skills, capable of fostering teamwork across diverse groups
