Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to executive projects.
Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
Research or project experience related to mobility technology, TSMO, ITS, and emerging transportation technologies.
Learn basic principles of Transportation Designing, Planning, and Policy for emerging technologies.
Actively enrolled in an accredited transportation engineering or planning program, or related, Masters or PhD program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026 or later.
Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Demonstrated interest in Design/ Planning, or related field, and have a strong desire to advance skills related to WSP’s work and projects.
Must be 18 or older.
Prior internship greater than 3 months in length.
Actively enrolled in an accredited Design/ Planning, or related, Undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026 or later.
Research or project experience analyzing, developing, and/or deploying mobility technology, TSMO, and/or ITS programs for state and federal departments of transportation.
