Under the guidance of VDC Leadership manage the BIM Coordination process from project conception through construction to meet the project specific BIM/VDC goals.

Experience working with BIM models during 3D Coordination is strongly preferred.
Experience with construction coordination and specifically integrated construction coordination preferred.
Experience in the commercial construction industry and specifically with BIM software is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated strong 2D and 3D graphic skills.
Understands the project specific BxP workflows, TradePartner BIM Alignment strategies and assists VDC leadership in managing the successful execution of the project specific BIM/VDC workflows.
Experience with IPD, Design Assist and/or Design/Build projects is preferred.
Demonstrated technical knowledge of design and/or construction processes.
Strong understanding of 2D design and construction documents.
Experience with Design and/or Construction teams is strongly preferred.
Ability to read and understand information found in design documents, plans, and specifications required.
Understanding of construction processes and trades (e.g., mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position.
Minimum 3 years of increasing responsibility in a BIM and/or a VDC focused role.
3D Coordination with project partners is a plus.
Engineering Degree focused on Building systems may be considered.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or similar is preferred.
Additional industry experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
Working knowledge of BIM software including Autodesk Revit and/or Navisworks is required.
