Produce contract specifications and tender documentation (including Pre-tender Health & Safety Plans) for contractor tendering
Provide regular progress reports and updates to Port Engineering Management, highlighting any delays or required actions
Run and manage the inspection of works programme to ensure all building and civil engineering works meet required standards and are properly recorded
Prepare Pre-Contract Information files, review Contractors’ Construction Phase Plans, and ensure accuracy of Health & Safety files including “As Built” drawings
Prepare accurate and properly costed designs and project estimations
Control project site activities for compliance with specifications, tender documents, programme, and budget constraints
Prepare well-defined, financially viable, and legally sound contract documents before project commencement
Apply consistent and effective problem-solving to maintain project schedules and budgets
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Maintain regular on-site presence and liaise with contractors to promptly resolve any arising issues
Use in-house AutoCAD (following training) to interpret, modify, and prepare technical drawings and layouts in support of project planning and delivery
Monitor budgets by reviewing valuations and variations to contract
Oversee health and safety compliance including CDM 2015 duties as Client, Principal Designer, and Designer
Attend regular progress meetings with stakeholders and agree on key tasks to meet project deadlines
