Develop and manage regulatory tracking tools to automate policy alerts
Perform market/regulatory research to present new products and trade strategies to the trading team and greater organization
Assist, alongside internal Legal and Compliance teams, to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government regulations

Ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry groups, and consultants.

5+ years of experience in regulatory analysis, market research, or policy advisory within the energy, carbon, or renewable fuels sectors.
Strong understanding of US federal and state-level energy and environmental regulations, including RFS, LCFS, IRA, and carbon markets.
Experience with market modelling, scenario analysis, and regulatory forecasting.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) and regulatory tracking platforms.
Demonstrated ability to develop innovative commercial ideas based on regulatory trends and market dynamics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex regulatory developments into actionable insights.
Familiarity with compliance processes and collaboration with legal and internal governance teams.
Experience presenting findings to senior management and cross-functional teams.
Experience managing third-party consultants and ensuring alignment with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Proven track record of interpreting and applying complex regulatory frameworks to commercial strategies.
