Good knowledge of 8-steps process for issue resolution including root cause assessment, solution development and validation.
10-25% travel is expected in support of customer meetings, site walk-downs, vendor support, testing, and product implementation.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university/college. Master’s degree is a plus.
Detailed Knowledge of at least one of the gas turbine components/modules (Combustion, Turbine, Compressor)
Strong project management skill is preferred
Frame interface in module for target setting and issue resolution
Strong engineering background, communications skills and network building.
Minimum 8 to 10 years of successful experience in the design, testing, or manufacture of turbo machinery or rotating equipment. Advanced degree may be substituted for experience, where applicable.
