The technician works in a truck‑route service environment for a single client, performing mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration service work and preventive‑maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include planning and selecting required materials, interpreting drawings, schematics, blueprints or verbal instructions, operating a range of tools and equipment, and requisitioning new supplies. All work is performed according to established safety procedures and company policies, with additional duties as required and on‑hour on‑call emergency response.

Physical abilities required include climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting objects up to 50 lb. The role also demands the ability to respond to alarm calls during off‑hours, weekends, and holidays, a valid driver’s license, successful background check, and a team‑oriented attitude.
The position offers a $40.30 hourly rate determined by the collective bargaining agreement, with benefits provided through a local labor union. Compensation reflects the target range, though exceptional candidates may be considered beyond it.
