Perform conceptual, schematic, and design development budgets
Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Present prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information
Solicits and maintains communication with subcontractors and vendors
Collaborate with others on the preconstruction team to successfully bid jobs
Help track market prices for commodities and equipment to ensure bids reflect current cost and remain competitive
Compute cost by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
Review plans for consistency and accuracy
Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information

Ability to approach challenges with a problem solving and analytic approach
Understanding of Construction Estimating Systems ( e.g. Accubid, Trimble, Conest) and other Microsoft applications.
Familiarity with Sage BIM/ Revit or CAD drawings
6-8 years of overall commercial electrical experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Underground and Land Balancing experience a plus
Journeyman or Master Electrician License (Texas) or equivalent field experience
Ability to read plans and specifications and perform quantity surveys
6+ years of estimating or commercial construction management experience
Willingness to develop relationships with subcontractors, clients, and engineers
Proficient with various modern technology platforms
Proficient time management skills with ability to navigate multiple estimate opportunities
HSA and FSA
Excellent organizational skills
