Manage OCS scope, design, procurement, installation, and testing to meet project and customer requirements.
The OCS Engineer is responsible in managing the Overhead Contact System (OCS) scope from design through construction, testing and commissioning of the project.
Oversee OCS subcontractors, billings, change proposals, and project closeout documentation.
Support Construction Managers with installation plans, drawings, and QA/QC compliance.
Manage testing, commissioning, and integrated systems testing.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of OCS and Traction Power equipment.
Maintain strong relationships with owners, contractors, and subcontractors.
Promote team discipline, morale, and collaboration.

- 5–10 years’ experience in rail projects, Signal/Train Control required.
- Frequently speaks, reads, writes, and uses a computer keyboard
- Willing to travel
- Analytical, creative problem-solving abilities; transparent communicator.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Electrical PE preferred; knowledge of current electrical codes and standards.
- Thorough understanding of Signal/Train Control systems used in transit.
- May require occasional standing, walking, lifting, stooping, or bending
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CADD experience preferred.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
