The EV Construction Manager leads the execution of electric‑vehicle charging projects across multiple regions, ensuring they are built efficiently, safely, and in compliance with design, customer, and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating field operations, subcontractors, and vendors, and collaborating closely with project managers, engineering, safety, and operations teams to meet schedule and quality standards.
- Lead construction execution of EV charging projects across multiple regions and states.
- Manage daily field operations, including crew coordination, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure consistent construction standards and compliance with design drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
- Oversee site readiness, mobilization, construction, commissioning support, and project closeout.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Safety, and Operations teams.
- Track production, labor, materials, and installation progress.
- Identify constructability issues early and drive field‑level solutions.
- Maintain jobsite safety compliance with company, customer, and OSHA standards.
- Participate in project planning, sequencing, and scheduling with PMs.
- Support permitting, inspections, AHJ coordination, and utility interfaces.
- Provide accurate field reporting on schedule, risks, manpower, and productivity.
- Capture lessons learned and continuously improve construction execution.
- Support scaling EV construction from one‑off builds to repeatable national programs.
- Assist with onboarding and training of field crews and subcontractors for EV work.
- Participate in client site walks, issue resolution, and milestone inspections.
- Escalate risks, delays, or quality concerns proactively with solutions.

Ideal candidates are field‑first construction leaders with proven experience delivering electrical, civil, or infrastructure projects and a solid understanding of EV charging construction. They must be able to manage multiple sites, interpret drawings and specifications, hold subcontractors accountable, and thrive in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments while communicating clearly with crews, leadership, and customers.
- Proven record delivering electrical, civil, or infrastructure construction projects.
- Knowledge of EV charging construction, including trenching, foundations, conduit, switchgear, chargers, and commissioning support.
- Ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong skills in holding subcontractors accountable while maintaining positive relationships.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and solution‑driven with effective communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with Level 2, DC Fast Charging, fleet or public EV deployments.
- Background in electrical construction, civil construction, or utilities.
- Multi‑site or program‑based construction experience.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
- Willingness to travel regionally or nationally as required.
