What you would be doing

This position imparts broad responsibilities and exposes you to a range of legal issues related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters.
You will manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating contacts, setting claims and advocating for clients in court.
- Communicating with clients regarding their respective matters
- Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims
- Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of the firm's clients in MD
- Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc.

This is a fully remote role outside of court appearances. You must live in Maryland and MUST BE admitted to practice law in Maryland
- Legal research related to simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm
- Must be currently admitted to practice law in MD (multi-state admission would be amazing)
**there are no billable hours and this is a strictly 40 hour per week role**
