The senior role will guide the expansion of alternative‑fuel and raw‑material use to meet the company’s CO₂ reduction roadmap. It involves creating and rolling out sourcing, treatment and delivery frameworks in partnership with both internal teams and external stakeholders, while evaluating economical supply‑chain options and waste‑to‑energy solutions.
Success in this position requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline and at least five years of experience managing alternative fuels or recycling programs. Candidates must possess deep knowledge of cement processes, environmental regulations, techno‑economic analyses, and have strong communication, negotiation and leadership capabilities.
The position operates in a fast‑paced industrial environment, collaborating with multiple internal groups and external partners, and includes frequent travel. Adaptability and proactive engagement are essential as the role navigates permitting, market development and contract management.
Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $123,370 to $164,490, eligibility for an annual incentive plan, and a comprehensive benefits package covering health, dental, wellness, and pension/ RRSP contributions.
