Caregivers are expected to respond promptly to resident needs, follow care plans, assist with personal hygiene, meals, transportation, safety checks, and document changes, all while encouraging participation in enriching activities.
Non‑essential duties include presenting a professional image, fostering teamwork, managing time effectively, and adhering to company policies, with additional tasks assigned by senior leadership as needed.
- Execute exceptional signature programs in dining, fitness, wellness, and care
- Respond to resident needs promptly and kindly while maintaining self‑respect, dignity, safety and confidentiality (50%)
- Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care (10%)
- Assist residents in daily living activities (bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, activities, bowel/bladder) (20%)
- Provide assistance at mealtime (3%)
- Transport residents safely, assisting with beds, wheelchairs, and escorting to meals/activities (3%)
- Perform regular safety checks on residents (1%)
- Encourage residents to participate in daily activities like bed making, laundry, cleaning, setting tables (1%)
- Invite, encourage, assist and lead residents in meaningful, life‑enriching activities (3%)
- Clean, complete laundry, and assist with community activities and duties (1%)
- Manage oxygen tanks and concentrators per MD orders (1%)
- Chart and document information, including incident reports, and communicate changes to supervisor (4%)
- Respond promptly to resident alerts, carry walkie‑talkies, react to emergencies (3%)
- Ensure resident safety and comfort, assist in fire or safety drills (1%)
- Encourage teamwork through open communication with co‑workers and other departments
- Adhere to MBK policies on meal breaks and rest periods
- Must meet and maintain all state‑specific regulatory requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, possess or be willing to obtain relevant certifications, pass background and health screenings, speak English, and meet physical requirements such as lifting 40 lb and pushing 150 lb.
- Display a positive and professional image through actions and dress aligned with MBK core values
- Demonstrate effective time management to complete resident assignments each shift
- Show tact and friendliness when dealing with residents, families, and guests
- Age 18+ or have proper work permit and authorization
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Nurse’s Aid certification preferred
- Current first aid certification
- Background clearances as required by regulations
- Complete health screening and provide negative TB test (within 6 months or 7 days of employment)
- Prior caregiving experience preferred; on‑the‑job training available
- Must read and speak English
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
- Ability to interact effectively with people of different ages and backgrounds
- Mobile and able to kneel, squat, reach overhead, bend
- Able to lift 40+ pounds and push 150 pounds unassisted
