The Technical Engineering and Cost Analyst provides engineering and cost information to ensure construction work complies with all standards and specifications. This role supports accurate job controls, design interpretation, and comprehensive documentation.
Key duties include assisting with job controls to meet contract, budget, and schedule requirements; interpreting design drawings for craft workers and resolving conflicts; preparing status reports, punch lists, sketches, and material calculations; and providing technical support for material delivery, construction schedules, and cost minimization. The analyst also develops quantity take‑offs, price lists, labor and equipment cost estimates, and researches historical data to establish guidelines for future estimates.
A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field is preferred, with 0‑2 years of experience in construction estimating, engineering, or field support. Required skills include proficiency with MS Office, scheduling and AGTEK Take‑off software, a working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, and the ability to perform trigonometric calculations manually or with a calculator.
The position requires regular talking, hearing, standing, walking, sitting, and computer use, with occasional reaching and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Employees must maintain close vision and be prepared to work around large construction equipment while adhering to safety standards.

The base salary range for this position is $61,100.00 – $91,648.00, with pay varying based on experience, skills, location, and education.
