Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving.
Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
Maintain and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary.
Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Report accurate and timely test results.
Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to departmental SOPs.
Assist with the processing of specimens when needed.

Ability to operate and maintain laboratory instruments.
Associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
Experience in hematology, clinical chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, or microscopy.
Experience in Chemistry Hospital Lab/Clinical Chemistry.
ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Lab Technician.
Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Experience in clinical laboratory testing.
Proficiency in laboratory information systems.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
