The engineer will lead design efforts for overhead catenary systems, perform quality control, manage mid‑large size projects, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position also includes coordinating multidisciplinary teams, mentoring staff, and developing strong client relationships.
We are seeking a talented Rail Systems / Catenary Engineer for the New England region. The role offers the chance to work alongside experienced rail professionals across the United States on transit projects that focus on electrification and overhead catenary systems.
Minimum qualifications include a BA/BS in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field) with six years of relevant experience, a Professional Engineer license, and a valid U.S. driver’s license. Preferred candidates bring ten years of railway systems experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, GEOPAK, OpenRoads/OpenRail, and prior work with agencies such as CTDOT, Metro‑North, Amtrak, or MBTA.
