Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager supports all on‑site operations and works to meet the property’s financial and operational goals. The role ensures accurate traffic, leasing, renewal, and revenue data, produces regular activity reports, maintains resident files, and guarantees compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
The position involves collaborating with the property team to drive revenue, manage collections, oversee billing, respond to resident service requests, maintain operational standards, coordinate resident events, conduct leasing tours and inspections, handle evictions, monitor market trends, compile special reports, train staff, schedule unit turn‑keys, and enforce safety policies.
Candidates must have prior property‑management experience, a state leasing license (or ability to obtain one), strong proficiency with MS Office and relevant software, excellent written and verbal communication, a customer‑focused and leadership mindset, and the ability to work independently under pressure while maintaining confidentiality.
