Support creation and upkeep of facilities and equipment documents, including construction and property records.
Gather required information from verbal communication, sketches, field notes, vendor catalogs, and site visits.
Perform mathematical calculations needed for assigned tasks.
Interpret vendor prints, shop drawings, and equipment instructions and apply them to work.

This position involves using computer‑aided drafting (CAD) to create and update 3D inventory parts, assemblies, and drawings, as well as 2D AutoCAD Electrical drawings. It is an onsite designer internship located in Roanoke, VA, working five days a week, and provides a foundation for a future career.

Applicants must have completed at least one year toward an associate degree in applied science drafting, CAD, or a related engineering technology, be at least 18 years old, and have a graduation date of December 2026 or later with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Physical demand is sedentary.

Use Autodesk CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, Civil3D, Inventor, Vault) proficiently.
Utilize Microsoft Office applications proficiently.
