Interface and Integration Director

Description

• Lead the integration and interface of the Systems with civil structures, elevated guideways, tunnels, stations, O&M facilities, as well as with the existing rail transit systems in revenue operation.
• Ensuring the various project/segment teams comply with the system lifecycle processes defined in ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288.
• Ensure you and your family receive the services needed to support your mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
• Execute Systems Engineering processes to deliver successful project outcomes, including requirements management, interface management, validation and verification, configuration management and progressive assurance.
• Manage the successful delivery of Design and Construction Interface requirements.
• Effectively communicate expectations, track performance of engineering teams and subcontractors, and take proactive measures to address technical challenges.
• Engage with the Testing and Commissioning team at key stages to ensure success of the Testing and Commissioning program.
• Manage multi-disciplinary internal engineering resources on the project.
• Provide oversight and support for various stages of systems testing.
• Interface with the Systems Design Team and others to determine schedules, monitor design progress, support systems integration, and coordinate the procurement, installation and T&C activities.
• Lead teams responsible for design, procurement, installation, integration, configuration, testing, and commissioning of transit Systems.
• Support various transit related pursuits from the perspective of Systems Integration.

Requirements

• communication skills.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in civils construction, track, buildings, Utilities, M&E, or related disciplines is required.
• Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, or equivalent discipline.
• Sound judgement, highly developed interpersonal skills, well developed organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with demonstrated ability to plan and execute multiple priorities with tight deadlines and meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including superior skills in Excel.
• Professional business communication designations considered an asset.
• Proven experience managing large, complex rail or transit infrastructure projects in a client-facing role.
