Prepares formal quotations and submittals under the direction of estimators and sales team
Manage and source pricing for items across Core & Main’s scope of work on contractor projects, meeting internal and external deadlines to generate quotations that comply with specifications and/or customer requirements.
Acts as focal point for questions concerning specifics of quotes and proposals
Identifies opportunities for improving the quotation process and reports them to management.
Revise quotes and update pricing per addendums
Assists our estimating team with maintaining the bid calendar and ensuring quotes are delivered in a timely fashion
Establish and strengthen relationships with customers and the manufacturing community
Manages incoming RFQs, working with the sales team and the customer to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Experience preparing and pricing quotes for contractors, preferably on large heavy/civil and/or treatment plant projects
