Description

The role involves greeting customers, identifying their needs and delivering swift, efficient service. You will maintain high standards throughout the yard, counter and shop floor, operate machinery safely, and handle tasks such as off‑loading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles. Additionally, you will advise customers on products, cross‑sell services like Build Aviator and Tool Hire, and communicate pricing clearly while supporting sales initiatives.

• Greet customers, assess needs, and provide quick, efficient service.
• Ask open questions to build relationships and understand current and future requirements.
• Maintain high standards across the yard, counter, and shop floor.
• Operate machinery safely and perform off‑loading, picking, packing, restocking, and loading tasks.
• Advise on products and cross‑sell packages such as Build Aviator and Tool Hire.
• Support initiatives to increase sales, margin, and service levels.
• Continuously develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines.
• Deliver high customer satisfaction and retain repeat business.
