SMP Turnaround Lead (Offshore WA) - Immediate start

Design, build, and advance the world through consulting and engineering
Coordination and supervision of SMP (structural, mechanical, piping) activities during a major offshore LNG turnaround, with a focus on safety, technical expertise, leadership, and communication.
Ongoing work on interesting projects delivered in partnership to leaders of industry across energy and materials markets
Ensuring all workers in their areas of control receive appropriate training to perform their work in a safe, legal and competent manner including any Health and Safety and site-specific inductions
Initiate safety, quality, and environmental processes within their areas of control, including toolbox meetings, inspections and the identification, assessment and control risks in accordance with Wood and client requirements
Responsible for execution of the work in accordance with the quality standards and requirements specified
Responsible for management and execution of multiple field disciplines from turnaround readiness through to post turnaround
Coordinate field personnel work schedules to maximise utilisation and ensure work is delivered safely on schedule and within budget, capturing change were necessary
Acting focal point on site during the critical phases of the turnaround

Flange Management Level 1 -3 – valid within 3 years
Work Safely at Heights – valid within 2 years
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive performance in high-pressure offshore environments
Technical: Excellent knowledge of structural, mechanical, and piping systems, including installation, maintenance, and inspection processes. Familiarity with large and small-scale piping installations is essential
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders
Mechanical Trade Cert (Cert III/Cert IV) or Engineering degree (Structural, Mechanical, or Piping) from a recognised institution
