The position involves supporting senior project managers with schedule management, budgeting, change‑order tracking, subcontractor oversight, and ensuring thorough project closeout documentation, while also collaborating with the Quality Control team throughout construction and commissioning.
- Provide close support for the senior project management team
- Develop project management techniques to ensure schedule requirements are met
- Initiate and track change orders using a log; act as liaison between field management and owner on scope changes
- Provide close support and oversight of third‑tier subcontractors
- Assist in creating and enforcing the project budget
- Assist in creating and submitting the schedule of values (SOV)
- Oversee Project Engineers in processing RFIs, submittals, quantity takeoffs, and material tracking
- Oversee the project closeout process to ensure all documentation is submitted to the owner
- Provide close support of the Quality Control team throughout construction and commissioning

The company is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to join its project management team. In this role, you will work closely with senior Project Managers, gaining valuable experience and contributing directly to the successful execution of projects.
Candidates should have at least three years of project‑management experience in electrical construction, preferably with mission‑critical data‑center exposure, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and proficiency in project‑management and CAD/BIM software. Strong safety commitment, the ability to work both independently and on‑site, and relevant certifications are also important.
- 3+ years of project management experience in electrical construction; mission‑critical data center experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft 365, Accubid, and Bluebeam
- Knowledge of CAD/BIM software
- Understanding of electrical systems and industry standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to safety and quality; NFPA 70E or OSHA certifications highly preferred
- Ability to work outdoors and on job sites frequently
